WaicUp.orgâa queer-run global nonprofit empowering Gen Z to lead climate action through art, policy advocacy, and storytelling. Through strategic campaign development, from inception to implementation, we leverage unique pressure points to drive systemic change.
With over 3.2 million youth engaged worldwide, we amplify and unite BIPOC and queer voices, pioneering in-house campaigns and mentoring youth-led groups with the resources, tools, and support needed to create transformative change in their communities and beyond.

A youth-led media platform covering climate and social issues. We publish news, interviews, and on-the-ground reports while connecting underrepresented young voices to major news outletsâ ensuring youth perspectives are heard in global conversations.

LGBTQ+ communities face extreme climate vulnerability, often denied aid and safety. Through Legalise Love, Waic Up partnered with the UN to advocate for persecuted queer refugees, generating over one million impressions and leading to the first UN recognition of LGBTQ+ people as vulnerable to climate change.
Founded by the leaders of the School Strike for Climate Movement, we co-organised the UKâs largest climate protest in history of over 100,000 students. We also focus on broadening the avenues through which young people can engage civically; to the aim of empowering young people to create positive action in their communities and beyond.
